Sue Bird is a professional American basketball player who plays for Seattle Storm. Seattle Storm, WNBA Women's National Basketball Association. She has been a member of the Seattle Storm's three different WNBA-championship-winning squads. Sue Bird, born in New York, became an Israeli by the help of her father. But she is a player for her birth country on the international stage and has earned the four Olympic gold medals as well as 4 FIBA World Cups as part of the US national team. At an early age, her enthusiasm in sports developed. Apart from basketball, she played at track and field as well as soccer, and tennis. The first and second year of her sophomore year she played at Syosset High School. Then when she was in third and fourth years in the high school system, she moved to Christ the King Regional High School which had greater sport.
