Felicity is a British actress who became famous for her portrayal of Jane Hawking, the protagonist of The Theory of Everything. Jones has been acting since she was 12years old, has been a part of several TV and film series. Jones first began her acting career in the television movie The Treasure Seekers. She then played Ethel Hallow in The Worst Witch followed by the sequel Weirdsister college. Her debut film, Flashbacks of a Fool was a film that featured her as Young Ruth. Since then she's appeared in numerous movies. It was her acting in movies including The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The most notable was her portrayal for her role in The Theory of Everything that gave her an Oscar for the first time. Jones received high praise from the critics and viewers alike as she played Hawking's ex-wife as she appeared in this Stephen Hawking biopic. In the following film, she was Inferno a thriller starring Tom Hanks. It was the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles has awarded Jones as the British Artist of the Year in 2016 due to her extraordinary talents and contributions to the cinema.
